Microsoft Application Architect (Code: MAA_06)

We are seeking a Microsoft Solutions Architect with excellent knowledge, experience, and consulting skills to work on, manage and mentor through all aspects of software development. Candidates must possess expert knowledge of software development and troubleshooting skills on the Microsoft platform (including Windows 2000, IIS, SQL Server 2000) with an emphasis on Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, Sharepoint Portal server, Biztalk and Content Management Server. Candidates must also possess good communication skills for interaction with customers (both internal and external) and with other internal engineering teams.

Required Skills:

Sharepoint Expert:

We are looking for a Sharepoint Product Expert/ Information Architect to perform the following functions:
Performs lead role on Sharepoint deployment projects to include analyzing capacity needs and recommending infrastructure configuration and hardware topology. Consults with clients to determine requirements and performs system design. Experience in Windows Sharepoint Services and integration aspects with Content Management Server & Biztalk preferred.

Development & implementation of web parts & Customization of Sharepoint Sites to include non-standard functionality; Configures servers if infrastructure resource unavailable; Provide hands-on training throughout engagements for customer team members.

Directly manages small engagements and performs technical lead role on larger engagements; manages junior resources on team; Consults with Microsoft practice director on approaches and architectures

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree discipline preferred; SharePoint product expert with information architecture skills and at least 2 years of development experience required; Previous Sharepoint project experience required and .NET development experience preferred; Strong communication and project management skills required.
